In order to ensure that the ambient air in homes and work premises is good, it is key to focus on the quality and emissions of the materials used to make the walls and floors. The EMICODE® system developed by the Gemeinschaft Emissionskontrollierte Verlegewerkstoffe, Klebstoffe und Bauprodukte e. V. (GEV) rates the respective emissions of building products. Those that are awarded an EMICODE® EC 1 or EC 1PLUS status are especially low in emissions, adhere to the most stringent of threshold values, and are permanently and independently monitored. Indeed, even in the French classification system for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), PANDOMO products come out with an A+ rating. Meaning they meet the requirements for building certification systems such as the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and GSBC (German Sustainable Building Council) ratings.

Environmental product declarations
The eco-impact of our products is transparently communicated through eco-assessments by a verified and registered document, namely an EPD (environmental product declaration). The EPD provides the data basis for the ecological building evaluation across the entire lifecycle. The specimen EPDs given in the sustainability data sheets were developed by FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry and verified by the independent IBU Institute of Construction and the Environment. The eco-assessment data can be relied on when evaluating a building’s sustainability.
